The Tan Jackets perform covers of songs by bands often referred to as punk rock and 60’s psychedelia; from The Monks, The 13th Floor Elevators, The Stooges and MC5. The group have written their own songs on and off between soundchecks and rehearsals over the years, and in 2023 unleashed their own brand of retro-fied rock n’ roll into the world. Debut single 'Brain Ghost' preceded a three track EP; a mixture of rock n’ roll, R&B, and punk rock that reflects the world The Tan Jackets live inside.
