This isn't an immigration issue. Maybe those who are pushing that want to dismantle the E.U and if so they are very much a fringe element here.

Tbh, I give her partner a pass on it ( at the moment anyway) because it is easier to feel anger than grief and it is giving him a focus for what is otherwise senseless rage.

Mr Puska didn't have any criminal record of note though, so unless you are going to take away the right to travel for minor offences, such a stance wouldn't have stopped this.

If we ban inward migration for anyone with a minor criminal record then you can expect other countries to reciprocate, which I don't think would best serve us as a country.
