A small town in the arse end of no wheresville, is the best place to live in the whole country? Come on now !
It's a nice enough spot. Great scenery, good pubs with good music & a good buzz. (I think that one of the Chieftans ones one of the pubs on the main street, and the place is always hopping.) The Big House is just up the road where de quality can impress the tourists with their particular brand of Oirshness. Some nice old, Georgian buildings in the town centre. Grand place altogether, but you could say all that about a boat load of other towns and villages in the country. I'm not sure what there is unique to Westport that makes it the best place in the country to live in.
