Sinn Fein are not a Normal Political Party

You have to be in Cork Airport nearly 2 hours ahead of a flight to Paris,
You can check-in 40mins before flying Ryanair to Paris. I've often gone straight to the boarding queue without spending 2 hours in airport, you do know you can do online check-in and use your phone as boarding pass as well
Thinking you have to be in Cork Airport two hours before a flight is nonsense.

Completely different?
Saying 32000 new builds >85,597 new builds during a housing crisis is disgusting.
I don't even know why I'm taking the bait, but I'm sure if you read the Housing Minister's ( which I've no intention of ) there will be caveats in it that will explain the rational behind claiming that his logic is correct.

Personally I don't take notice of any figures politicians present because they can be easily tabulated in such a way that can suit their narrative.

In your case above, you are arguing whether something is 32k or 85k. It still means at least he was 40% accurate and houses WERE built.

Using cancer stricken children as a prop to create hysteria about 820 children been left down by the HSE for chemotherapy wouldn't be a problem if it was a bit high and the real number was 300 cancelled sessions

But the fact that there was NONE is a completely different issue

Brilliant - Train-Luas-Train takes "multiple modes" or drive for just over 4 hours, but according to you one can "pop" to Cork or Dublin Airport - by the time you've driven up to Cork Airport you could be at the tunnel on the road to Belfast or well ensconsed in Kent Station and availing of their refreshments.

Door to door timewise Cork City centre to Belfast City centre is quicker than door to door Paris centre - no matter how much you'd like to present one as a trip by "multiple modes" while the other is merely a "pop" to the airport and you're magiced away to Paris centre. You have to be in Cork Airport nearly 2 hours ahead of a flight to Paris, then it's another 90 mins on the plane (sometimes less) then it's a train taking the bones of another hour into centre of Paris.

You seem to think that drive/taxi-flight-bus/train is easier than drive for a shorter time or travel by train-luas-train which of course is cheaper too.

GoWanYaLanger!
Irish Rail?

Really?

You could book a seat and then some other smelly semi-drunken eejit is sitting in it and refusing to move while he drinks his big bag of cans and eats a kebab.

I have done Cork to Paris in just over 2 hours many a time with a check-in online, carryon luggage and a pre-bought train ticket to central Paris and there is a train every 10 minutes.

45 mins is enough at Cork airport before flight as only U.S. flights require 2 hours check-in.

Close to 6 or 7 hours on the Trans-Hibernia Express............

Go and have a Twix and a lie down.....................

I have only been to Belfast twice and only once deliberatly by choice.

The place is utterly miserable and it is like Nottingham or Croydon with more flags and they seem to like it that way.

Go to Paris most years and it is always fascinating and plenty to discover.
Yeah it's a very British city, in the centre and out by Ravenhill.

He is allowed the INTERNET for only 6 hours a day every day (Thankfully) in the secure facility where he resides.

Everyone has him on IGNORE for a reason.

Did you not go out at night to any of the pubs for a pint or two to soak up the atmosphere. Not been up there in over a year now, my son was up there last month, but Belfast is a good town to socialise in.
Of course I did, Bullit was a good spot in fairness to the investment out in there.. the name did amuse me though. They were all work trips so wasn't looking for a big night out any of them. The Crown is an awful spot for all you'd hear about it. The food was bang average in general as well, I named 2 really decent spots, but so many were rubbish

I spent another night in a hotel there with the RUC parked at the front door in one of their riot jeeps for some reason.

I dunno, it feels like a depressing spot with a thin new veneer stretched over one part of it
