You know something i've been to Limerick but i've never spent a prolonged period of time there.Anyway i'll be spending a few days next there next week and i'll give ye my verdict once and for all when i get back. Can anyone recommend fun stuff to do in Limerick?

Ask for the panic room upgrade at your hotel.

They will say that they do not have one but insist as they do.

Avoid the city centre and suburbs and you will be fine.

It was bad but seriously run down now in the city centre.

It's not fucking Cape Town like!Limerick has improved a lot over the years.Apart from the infamous gang feud i don't think it's that bad!

Dolan's has good gigs on most of the time.

There used to be a great pint in Lorcan Bourkes.

I haven't been to Limerick in a while though.

EDIT: Apparently Bourkes is now a completely different bar. A "shithole" according to a colleague of mine.
