GARDAÍ are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a burning car and a man was rescued from a nearby river.

Very sad news to hear. From what I'm hearing, the man fled the scene and was found in a river nearby. The fact that he did a runner sounds suspicious. Both people aren't local to the area either. The road where the car was found is a quiet road and very little traffic goes up there. R.I.P. to the woman. Awful way to go.
