Hate to admit it but my answer is Yes. He's an impressive politician compared to the rest imo but the FF past is, justifiably, killing him. And I despise FF.

Maybe things wouldn't have turned out so bad if it was he that took over from Bertie rather than that ignorant idiot Cowen.

Hate to break it too you all lads but if Martin, or Dickie Bruton for that matter, was leader of FG then thye would cruise home to overall majority. If FF were in FG's position now they'd be clinical enough to finish the job (just saying as it has been for the existance of this state) but FG will peter into government in a hapless manner....
