Thought the same to an extent. Without wanting to sound patronising, even though I know I will, I think people without kids invest more emotional time in their pets. It's not a criticism, just an observation that I think we are still very emotional beings who want to bond with other sentient beings rather than our phones/lap tops etc

How did you get on?

I was working when I got the call, had someone on the line and put them on hold while I walked to the other side of the building but got the answer wrong, came back to the room and took the person off hold but sorted their issue so it was kind of a win.
