I was looking for a fishcake recipe there and came across the following...


1 pound imitation crabmeat, flaked
1 cup Italian bread crumbs, divided
1/4 cup egg substitute
2 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise

I got out of the site as fast as possible. I haven't googled any of the terms yet!

Egg substitute is powdered egg, they used it in the war.

I don't remember personally, I remember being told.

What was this website? Wartime recipes?
