yes and no - I agree 100% with not meeting your favey soccer player or some such shite and I have absolutely no interest in annoying people for a 30 second chat or photograph or whatever... but I got to spend a semester working weekly alongside someone who's work I would massively admire and it was an amazing experience - learned a huge amount from them
