Does anyone remember McCann (? McGann), the science teacher? He used to randomly fly into a rage, grab some guy and throw him out the door. He did it to me once and you had to stand there for Bertie to do his rounds and catch you. I remember being at the end of the corridor on 1st floor and heard Bertie's steps coming up the stairs. I went back into the middle of the doorless cloakroom and stood in the middle of the coats. Of course my legs were showing but Bertie came to the top of the stairs, looked left and right but not straight ahead, and never saw me.

When I was in 1st year, we heard about the 6th year Chemistry class. Apparently, one day in the lab McCann intentionally knocked a student's books on to the floor. The student got up, took McCann's books and fcuked them out the lab window. McCann was gobsmacked.
