Colleen Reid is a 21 year old singer songwritter from Vancouver, Canada. She has sang since she could speak and has been compared to the soulful voice of Tracy Chapman. She comes from a family of musicians and has been writting her own songs since she was pre-teen. She was a member of an aucapella jazz quartet for two years and has performed in singer songwitter show cases back in Canada. She recorded a cd this past year and will be recording another this coming spring. Her musical infuluences are Lesley Fiest, Fionna Apple, Tracy Chapman, Sarah Mcglauclan, and many more. Her own music falls under the Folk genre with a hint of country. Among other things she came to Ireland looking for new musical inspiration in hopes to bring it back home and create her new CD.
