I watched Dr Zhivago in the Cameo back in the day. Same guy who owned that had the cinema in Washington Street as well.

I don't remember the Cameo.
The one on Washington Street was the classic I think ?

Remember going to the Cameo in the early 80's. Long trek up and back. I vaguely remember there being a 'disco' after the movie. When I say disco , I mean some old man playing 45's on a record player. The song Suzannah by the Art Company rings a bell which puts me at 1984.

I get you now. I think the Lee was at the top of Wintrhop Street. The Classic was also called the Ritz I think in Washington Street.

Same guy Quinn owned both the Cameo and the Ritz at one stage.
