Sinn Fein are not a Normal Political Party

Terrible transport links to Norn Iron, Tribal bigotry and bitterness while you try to get in a little bit of scenery and many parts of it are still like the worst parts of Dublin in the early 1980's but with union flegs or tri-colours.

It is just like a giant holding pen/prison for Celtic and Rangers fans in parts and they like it that way.

Easier to get to Paris & London etc rather than go to that that festering hell hole anyway.

If there was any actual demand Ryanair would be flying people to Derry and Belfast etc from here but no, they carry us all off to nicer places in France,Italy,Spain etc.

Avoid.

How on earth is it "Easier to get to Paris" than to Belfast when you can take a Train, Luas, and Train city centre to city centre, or drive to Belfast in just over 4 hours?

Your transport to Paris is either drive/taxi to the Airport two hours in advance of your flight, and land outside of Paris requiring train/taxi in. Door to door Cork-Belfast city is quicker and cheaper than Cork-Paris, so you're talking nonsense. Again.

Not a hope I'd be there under my own steam. The highlight of about 8 trips to various parts was a class room on one of the top floors of the Grand Central Hotel in Belfast.. great views of the the absolute shithole in all of its glory. And, I had 2 really decent meals there - Mourne Seafood Bar and James St. Thats it, no more to tell!

Did you not go out at night to any of the pubs for a pint or two to soak up the atmosphere. Not been up there in over a year now, my son was up there last month, but Belfast is a good town to socialise in.

A moot point perhaps but who da fuck would want to go to Belfast when they could go to Paris ?

Drive or take multiple modes of transport for over 4 hours and then after all that just end up in Belfast of all places?

Then do it all in reverse a few days later?

Pop up to Cork or Dublin Airport.

Have a snack or a pint/glass of wine.

Sit on plane for 90 minutes (sometimes less).

Get train/metro to the centre of Paris for just over €11 (5th or 6th Arrondisements are propably the best as you can walk to most places)

Get the RATP Transport app and load up on cheap metro tickets and just tap and go in Paris.

Have an amazing cultural, architectural, food experience on the continent.

Other cities on the continent are also great and even much easier again London is just a short hop with plenty of cheap flights every day from Cork.

I have never known anyone in my group who has ever said :"Lets go to Belfast for the weekend?"
