Some poster was surprised that rockies furnished so many all Ireland’s to Cork, but it’s not surprising as Rockies have won the most counties, and are the most successful club in the city! Got it??

Darragh Stakelum, Darragh Lohan, Keith Smyth all playing today, all going well.
Those lads are inferior players IMO to our own Mícheál Mullins and Ben Cunningham at their same age yet the management seem very reluctant to give them a run.
A Particular pity for Mullins - he's only going to play junior hurling this year.

Darragh Stakelum, Darragh Lohan, Keith Smyth all playing today, all going well.
Those lads are inferior players IMO to our own Mícheál Mullins and Ben Cunningham at their same age yet the management seem very reluctant to give them a run.
A Particular pity for Mullins - he's only going to play junior hurling this year.

Well he could be playing Senior A if he wanted to. He would get a transfer to Na Piarsaigh straight away and wouldn’t have to wait 96 weeks . Might be better move for him to develop as a player

Blackrock is by far most successful club in city. In 1970’s practically whole Rockies team had all Ireland medals. The late Frank Norberg, John Rothwell, Brendan and Ray Cummins, John Horgan,Paddy Moylan, Tom, Mick and Jim Cashman, Eamon O Donoghue, Jimmy Brohan, Eudie Coughlan,Wayne Sherlock,the 2 Brownes..,,what a club!

Mullins has been injured since the opening game v Clare.
Cunningham only just coming back from injury.
Not much management can do if that happens.
