The acclaimed Washington DC-based Keegan Theatre returns for its tenth annual Irish tour with the American masterpiece ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST, which opens at the Everyman Palace Theatre from Monday 29th September.

Boisterous, ribald, and ultimately devastating, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST tells the story of a rebellious convict who fakes insanity to live out his sentence in a mental hospital.

Adapted into a stage play by Dale Wasserman from Ken Kesey’s seminal novel, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST premiered on Broadway in 1963, and has left an indelible on the literature, theatre, and film of our time.

Washington D.C. based Keegan Theatre are currently on their tenth annual tour of Ireland.

Each year they produce and tour one American play in Ireland and one Irish play in the USA.

The Everyman Palace Theatre is delighted to welcome them back after a successful run last year with a production of GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS by David Mamet.
