The Mick Lynch appreciation thread .

one of his colleagues eddie dempsey is under fire for living in a council house while on 100k.
Why shouldn't he live in his Council house?

Just because he has a decent job now as a Union rep?

He was obviously entitled to it before he got his latest role.

Try buying a decent house or flat in London on €100k gross.

Or even £100k gross.

Even worse, try putting 2 children through nursery and buying a decent house in London on £100k...

Touche.

Property tax & Transport costs?

Now London is running out of electricity for new homes so existing homeowners values can only rise, I guess.

Tories savaging each other over cheap/expensive clothes and accessories and people attacking a Union rep for simply existing in one of the most expensive countries in Europe.

Aspire to be poor?

I never said he shouldnt.

Quite.

I honestly have no idea how normal people on an average household income survive the period of early household ownership and early parenthood.

I never said he shouldnt.
I know but the people attacking him are on many multiples of his salary anyway just trying to score cheap points and undermine him.

I may not agree with him on points, but they are digging deep at this stage in the Tory right-wing factions.
