I had a look at some recent live footage of Bruce on YT and it occurred to me that he's using a teleprompter, not only when covering Rainy Night In Soho but for other songs aswell, overall he seems to be struggling a bit tbh, those long gigs must take a lot out of him.

He's 74.

I’ve seen him twice. Down the Pairc in 2013 and in the RDS in 2012. Didn’t play it either time which was disappointing.

A lot of them do it - especially artists who've have released 20 plus records - Jagger, Bono, etc.

Axl Rose was using them in 1991 when Guns N' Roses only had 3 albums out. 8-balls must be bad for the memory.

Springsteen also switches up (or used to anyway) his set list often playing requests from the crowd or building a list from fan placards. So it must be hard to recall all of his lyrics.

Why the fuck couldnt we get AC/DC down here instead of this boring fucker again. But nah, Dublin get them instead so have to pay €600 for a shoebox hotel room if i wanted to see them instead of staying in the family house in Cork and walking 3km to the gig.
