I agree but even in the woke digital age we’re in I believe the greens in their current form under Ryan are done.
They are a laughing stock and very uncool with younger voters who like a green agenda and topics like climate change are important to them but they can see through these bluffers.
Personnel is critical these days, I wish labour had a stronger team of people as they would be a good alternative for people like me who can’t stick FFG/SF/Greens/SD’s but they’re at nothing under the current crowd.
Top post.
The Greens seem to attract complete headers. The likes of O'Gorman, Neasa Hourigan etc.
I mean in all fairness what does removing the word woman from the Constitution/replacing marriage with 'durable relationship' have to do with the environment?
They're just an extreme left wing party who use voters concern for the environment as a cover to push their batshit crazy agenda & have an entirely disproportionate influence in relation to their share of the vote.
Locally you have Oliver Moran who is from Mayo and Dan Boyle whos so environmentally conscious hes taking every available foreign jolly ffs.
Theres little if any actual Green policy in their actions. Crippling the rollout and take up of electric cars, refusing to even countenance nuclear power to replace fossil fuels in Ireland, not investing in rail as an alternative form of transport, the list goes on and on.
O'Gorman has pushed this unwanted and unnecessary referendum as its in line with his political outlook. Hes tried to shaft womens groups and carers but as you said those politically engaged have seen through his bullshit.
Suppression of the AG's advice ahead of a referendum AND publicly lying about the same should be enough to be asked to resign in most democratic systems.
I hope they take such a kicking in upcoming elections that they simply cease to exist as a political entity. The party of high taxes and extreme left policy. They're completely toxic.
