Bodkin

The main protagonist is that surly , I'm mad at the world type character that clearly doesn't want to be where she is. The acting isn't bad if you can get past the A- typical Irish depiction and quite a few well known actors making their appearance. The overall atmosphere throughout carries an element of dark comedy. But not overdone thankfully as can be the case with some of these programmes.

It took me a few episodes to decide I was a bit invested in seeing the series through and actually enjoyed it in the end. A Lot is revealed about the main character in the end and basically there is a bit of everything attached to the plot of the story. Clearly this production had a lot of finance behind it given some of the later scenes.

I liked the West Cork element and the Irish small town scenery was pretty nice.

she's a bit of a looker though, i feel.
While I'd heartily agree with you there, it's a threshold I could'nt pass.

I couldn't make love to someone from Dublin.
