Huge win for Mallow. Douglas once again failing to step up to the plate. What is going wrong there given the abundance of talent at their disposal. Paul Holland over them this year.. very disappointing displays. Kevin Flahive, Sean Powter, Nathan Walsh, Shane Kingston Brian Hartnett to name a few who have all played Senior Inter County and they can’t string much together.. Sean Wilson another but gone travelling for the year I believe, will he return for Mallow? Big questions marks again this year from Douglas

Barrs were hopeless against Douglas and against any other team would have lost. Their now in a difficult position needing a win against valleys in their final game which is far from a foregone conclusion.
