2023 Intermediate A football

Aghabullogue strolling it against Adrigole. Adrigole look like a bad junior team.
Adrigole looked like a shadow of the team they were promising to be. Would be surprised now to see them win against Gabriel's and seem around the same as glenvilles level. Last Yr seems like a fluke IMHO. Aghabullogue however were soaring scorers all over the pitch. They'll take some stopping this yr

Wk1 Power Rankings 1. Aghabullogue 2. Vincent’s 3. Mitchelstown 4. Boherbue 5. Glanworth 6. Gabriel Rangers 7. Dromtarriffe 8. Kildorrery 9. Glanmire 10. Ballinora 11. Adrigole 12. Glenville

I was at the Dromtarriffe and Glanmire game. Was a good game in poor conditions, never knew who was going to come out on top until Glanmire went down to 14 and Dromtarriffe struck their 3rd goal late on. Conor O'Callaghan is a brilliant footballer as well as hurler. All to play for now against St Vincent's and Glanworth
Met a Dromtarriffe man yesterday evening who wasn’t sure if it was a straight red card, any idea if it was Honda? Also said Glanmire’s keeper cost them? Otherwise a cracker of a game by all accounts.

He definitely got a yellow card earlier in the game, I didn't see the ref show a second yellow though I only saw the red. Yes the Glanmire keeper was definitely shaky alright, when Dromtarriffe pushed up on the kickout he didn't know where to put it. Lot of turnovers from kickouts

Aghabullogue strolling it against Adrigole. Adrigole look like a bad junior team.
Adrigole was a strange one, They looked an alright team when they pushed up and tried to attack. but for most of the game they tried a badly designed blanket/Line defence on the 45 that looked very easy to bypass.
Continue to play in that way and they won't win many games. Hope their management seen it because their supporters most certainly do.

Aghabullogue looked very strong and won comfortably without having to exert too much energy.

I think it would be foolish to write Adrigole off so early. They clearly played a game plan that doesn’t suit them. Beara teams would be pure football of course. I know they got a fair hammering but I thought the game could have gone differently if they came out and played from the start. Even then they were unlucky enough with a few early chances. On another day this was a different game and I believe Adrigole will bounce back and have say in this championship yet. Football means a lot more down there than it does for other teams in this championship.

wouldn’t massively disagree with that, except I’d definitely be moving Vincent’s back behind Mitchelstown and Boherbue.

Vincents and Aghabullogue to go direct to semi finals

Dromtarriffe, Gabriels, Mitchelstown and Boherbue in quarter finals

Relegation Final - Glenville and Glanmire

I’m nearly 100% sure it was a second yellow didn’t deserve a straight red anyway
