He's the kind of cyclist who gives the rest a bad name, with his on board cameras and flashing lights he is actually making himself a target, I still wouldn't "punishment pass" the guy though for fear of actually clipping him.

Same here, I don't wear lycra either, not that I cycle to work every day but when I do I don't take the confrontational approach towards cars and other road users.

In what way is it effective? It sounds like intimidating behaviour to me tbh..

Just now I saw a guy in a van taking a right turn, without indicating, into our premises, driving around the car park and then going back out the gate this time taking a left turn back on to the main road while all the time holding a mobile phone up to his ear and steering with one hand. No...

The stupidity of boyracers puts other road users at risk, at least with cyclists who are overly brave it's only their own necks that they are putting on the line..

Sure it's a piece of piss to intimidate cyclists when you are safely inside your car and can drive away at speed once you have shown those pesky cyclists who's boss..

From today's Examiner, I don't personally know of any couples who beyond the child rearing age and not having children actually wanted it that way but maybe it is a trend that will become more noticeable here as time goes on...

When ever I am out cycling I never go through a red light but even though it's verboten I reckon taking refuge on a footpath now and then is not unreasonable so long as you don't harass any pedestrians..

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of, it seems one way of making Cork more cycling friendly..
