    TV3 HD added to Sky EPG today, channel 103, standard definition version moved to 273. The rugby world cup will be broadcast here. The bad news is that you need a Sky HD subscription to view it. Saorview will not be carrying the HD version.

    Front page of tonight's Echo says Quills on Patrick St has closed with effect. All stock has been removed. The stores in Kerry are not affected and no longer have a connection to the Cork store. Pana is rapidly becoming a ghost town.

    Just caught the tail end of the news, a 2 year old child was killed in a farming accident near Killeagh today, apparantly crushed under a tractor. So sad.

    New signs on N25 (Eastbound)

    Driving from the Dunkettle Roundabout to Midleton today, I noticed new roadsigns on the left, every 0.5 kilometres. They displayed as follows: N25 0.5, N25 1.0, N25 1.5, N25 2.0 etc. Any idea what they are for?
