Super monster fishing factory trawlers off the coast of Ireland having devastating affects on stocks.
Irish government - let's decommision dozens of small Irish trawlers and never mind the job losses that will follow.

Irish farmers squeezed to breaking point because of EU regulations but vote FG lads as Simon has your back.

Referendums to remove women from the constitution and shaft carers. FF/FG/G it's good for us lads take our word for it.

Record homelessness, No affordable houses or property to rent. Asylum seekers/refugees sleeping in tents.
Irish government - let's opt in to a binding agreement to take even more because that will solve it
. Oh btw we must pay a penalty for those we can't take.

Stacky....it's good for us lads, The EU said so.
You clearly haven't read the legislation.

How much does it cost to house and process an asylum seeker?

The Family Carers Ireland and the National Women’s Council were supporting teh referendum as peoposed.

Which regulations from the E.U. (That we were involved with at pre leglislation stage for years) do farmers want removed?

Do Irish kids want to go out on small trawlers in all weathers and risk their lives to catch fish in 2024 when they can make 3 times as much working on land and in total safety?

Try getting a loan or mortgage as a fisherman.

We should not be in any agreed E.U. wide scheme to repatriate asylum seekers much quicker?

Which E.U. country would agree to take asylum seekers back if we simply unilaterally made up our own leglislation that simply ceases to have any effect outside our borders?

How did that work out for the U.K. post Brexit where illegal immigration is going through the roof and they have no E.U. agreement to return people?

Sound_y?

If some alleged "asylum seeker" fails to be granted asylum in our light touch jurisdiction, then that should be his problem rather than ours. Let him be deported (forcibly if necessary) back to the country from which he travelled into our jurisdiction in the first place.

And if Ireland signs up to some further not-quite-EU-wide policy then how will that affect travel between Ireland and the UK, and what will be the knock-on issues for cross-border travel on this island?

Which is why the U.K. cannot just send asylum seekers or illegal immigrants back to France etc as they have left the E.U. and all its agreements.

The E.U.. and the U.K. are 2 totally seperate jurisdictions as we have the common travel area with the U.K. and full freedom of movement in the E.U.

If you do not have an agreement you cannot just send people back to where they came from.

Which is why they are trying to send a few people to Rwanda.

If you are still confused Volunteer Sound_y just contact the following:

Home Office Minister James Cleverly.

He might be busy on Thursdays stopping the boats and processing illegal immigrants that they cannot return (Maybe a few to Rwanda)
