Isn’t that what people went to the loft for?If you want to look inside a few crevices off you go,
I wonder what it’s being turned into?

That's because all it takes to get a shag is to register on The PROC if the obsession with gay venues here is anything to by.Really seems to be a short life-span for homosexual related establishments in Cork.
We've seen The Loft, Mykonos gay sauna, Flux gay bar, Loafers, the gay bar down opera Lane where Beechers Inn was, Slicks, the gay bar where Elroy's used be, the gay bar where the Oyster is and they had "sucker love is heaven sent" written on the wall, The Other Place nightclub and cafe, and many more. Heck, even gaycork.com isn't active at the moment.
We've all seen them come and go. Then fade away...like tears...in rain.
Loafers was around for years.
What pub does these days.True but it didn't stay the course.
I doubt know is there even a dedicated gay bar in Cork these days?
Chambers still open?
You would feel sorry for those who are not out, Those who are out are very relaxed about where they socialise, but difficultTrue but it didn't stay the course.

Move away from home into an urban centre and away you go. It's not the 80s anymore. You would feel sorry for those who are not out, Those who are out are very relaxed about where they socialise, but difficult
for somebody who is gay but wants to keep it under wraps,

Id say places like the loft were populated mainly by married men,Can't be too many in the closet these days. Some married fellas is about it I'd say but I can't see why any young fella would want to remain in the closet in 2022.
