For Ireland Reads, Hollyhill library is delighted to host a very special event: a morning of readings from the beautiful new local history book, ‘The Croppy Boy Way: A Walk on the Northside’ by Gerard Corbett and Jim O’Shea, capturing local folklore, sporting life and social history of Knocknaheeny, Hollyhill, Nash’s Boreen, Fairhill, Farranree and Churchfield. The event will also be accompanied by live music from the Cork Songwriter Club. A morning not to be missed. Hollyhill Library, Saturday 28 February, 11.30 am. All welcome.
