After more than a decade living and working on Bundjalung and Kulin lands in so-called Australia, Áine returned home to Ireland with a deepened commitment to land, solidarity, and collective responsibility. Her work challenges the global Irish diaspora, over 80 million strong, to reckon with inherited histories, particularly where Irish identity has been misused to undermine Indigenous justice. Collaborating across artists, cultures, and communities, she weaves circles together, strengthening collective power for global change.
2026 marks a defining chapter. Áine returns to Bundjalung Country on the main lineup at Bluesfest Byron Bay alongside globally revered artists, tours Ireland leading up to release of her landmark album MISE ÉIRE in May 2026. With major collaborations unfolding and a growing international audience, her work continues to expand in reach and resonance.
