Every year, Amnesty International's Write for Rights campaign brings people from all over the world together to fight for justice and dignity and to build a shared future.
This year's campaign is all about people, from the Amazon to Myanmar, who are fighting climate change and environmental destruction right on the front lines. They're trying to protect their communities from droughts, gas flares, development projects and pollution.
Amnesty International Ireland's Cork Local Group is running a workshop where we will share stories and write letters. You can make change happen by putting pen to paper to show solidarity with environmental defenders and to remind decision makers that the world is watching.
