The Embodied Archetypes workshop are creative, playful and empowering workshops led by former medical doctor, theatre maker and composer Lewis Barfoot. They use the power of myths and archetypes to provide a safe and sacred space to express yourself through body, voice and ritual.
In this workshop you will meet your inner Trickster or holy fool in a day dedicated to unearth this cunning, subversive, playful and boundary-crossing archetype. Trickster delights in all sorts of pranks, capers, mischiefs and jokes, shining a light on their own or other peoples stupidity, lies or shams. This workshop approaches the Trickster archetype through the lens of the feminine and is open to people of all genders.
CONTENT - The workshop will include lots of games and play to fire up your inner trickster as well guided vocal and physical warm ups, group work, movement, free dance, sharing circles, singing simple folk songs, guided visualisations, writing responses and time to share and reflect.
