The Donnys

The Donnys are an exciting and vibrant rock

and roll experience born and bred in

Kilkenny.

Described by Hot Press magazine as

“raucous rhythm ‘n’ booze” their infections

brand of music is both steeped in 70s blues

rock while dabbling in more modern punk

and noise rock influences.

Going from strength to strength since their

formation in late 2021, they’ve secured

support slots with Irish legends such as The

Stunning, Kerbdog and The Undertones as

well as expanding their reach to venues and

festivals all over Ireland including biblical

performances on the Salty Dog stage at

Electric Picnic in both 2023 and 2024.

2024 was nothing but high points with April

5th seeing the release of their acclaimed

debut album ‘Get Active’ and a subsequent

tour spanning Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny,

Waterford and Drogheda. After this the band

played their biggest headline show to date in

their home town of Kilkenny in Pegasus

Nightclub which
