The Bone Dog Blues Band, formed in 2010 after landing a weekend slot in The Thomond Bar for the Guinness Jazz Festival, is made up of Paul Buckley on vocals, Roy O Connor on bass, Gavin Blackshields on drums, and Alan Creedon on guitar. Since then, they have played at motorcycle rallies, festivals, and various rock and blues bars across the country, supporting renowned artists such as Thin Lizzy's Brian Robertson, blues guitarist Eamonn McCormack, and guitar wizard Pat MacManus. Their setlist features songs from iconic artists including Rory Gallagher, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Healey, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
