A natural musician and performer, Róisín O is no stranger to the stage. Raised in a family deeply rooted in Irish music, with mother Mary Black and brother Danny of The Coronas, she has toured extensively throughout Europe and the United States, both as a solo artist and as part of her family’s bands. Her debut album The Secret Life of Blue (2012) was described by Hot Press as “brilliant and addictive,” showcasing her unique ability to move between delicate, heartbroken acoustic moments and powerful, high-energy tracks. With a voice often compared to Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush, and a modern musicality reminiscent of Haim, Róisín O continues to evolve as one of Ireland’s most exciting contemporary artists.
