It is rare that the sea does not bleed into the music of musician Rua Rí in one way or another. Drawing influence from folk and traditional Irish music, the young songwriter is forging his own path, while still maintaining an echo of the tradition, in his singing and in his songs. His debut EP ‘Shepherd’s Delight’ had a superb reception and his newest single ‘Wonderland’ released in 2023 has been a career highlight.
