Come to our fun interactive workshop on Pleasure Activism! Where we will move, create, imagine and act together for a world where everyone has the right to pleasure. Inspired by the great adrienne maree brown’s words “Pleasure is the point! Feeling Good is Not Frivolous, it’s Freedom!”, the Critical Hedonism movement and global justice movements, it’s time to reclaim life’s little pleasures from the hands of the neoliberal capitalist system.
This workshop is about how we can dismantle this system through community building and joyful resistance together. When we move away from the idea that pleasure can only be experienced as a consumer with money, we realise that to experience joy, play, rest and fun, we need free community spaces to be, to create and to imagine together.
Wear comfortable clothing and prepare to get down and dirty... with paint splashes!
