This wonderful evening concert of the 11th Ortús Chamber Music Festival will bring you a delightful programme of chamber music featuring Cork violinist Mairéad Hickey. Mairéad will be joined by French musicians, David Moreau (violin), Pierre Antoine Codron (viola), Jérémie Moreau (piano), Dutch cellist Alexander Warenberg and Spanish double-bassist Luis Cabrera to perform Beethoven's String trio in C minor Op. 9 No. 3, Penderecki's Duo Concertante per violino e contrabasso and Pierre Thilloy's Lamentation. The concert will conclude with Schubert's unforgettable Trout Piano Quintet.
