Open Walls is a collaborative project supporting the artistic community in Cork and beyond, which began in November 2024. For over a year they have hosted monthly art markets and exhibitions in multiple venues around Cork City, including The Roundy, The Friary, Kino, Nudes, and Wandesford Quay Courtyard.
This month Open Walls will host their largest exhibition so far, in the mezzanine of St. Peter’s Cork. This exhibition will feature artwork by 16 international artists, their work spanning painting, print, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and film.
Open Walls strives to provide regular and accessible exhibition opportunities to artists, creating a sense of stability and community in an art world which is often difficult to move through, especially for emerging artists. We are extremely grateful to St.Peters for providing us this exhibition opportunity, enabling us to support 16 wonderful artists in exhibiting their work.
