Niall Connolly returns to the Lobby for two nights this Christmas. Accompanied by some of Ireland’s finest musicians, Niall will be performing material from ‘Songs from a Corner’ and recently released and much acclaimed follow up, ‘as tomorrow creeps from the east’ alongside some new material. Since the release of his second album in October, Niall has received considerable airplay on national radio, superb reviews and just completed a tour that stopped off in the Gaeltacht, Dublin, London’s West End and Holland among other ports of call.
Niall will be joined on stage by Aisling Fitzpatrick (cello), Barry Twomey (piano, guitar), Billy Marnane (drums and backing vocals), Gavin O’Sullivan (bass) and Karl Nesbitt (flute, bouzouki, bodhran and didjerido).
