The National Symphony Orchestra Ireland and conductor Anna Rakitina return in style to Cork City Hall for an unforgettable evening of music.
The concert opens with the Irish premiere of Anna Clyne’s Restless Oceans, followed by Tchaikovsky’s virtuosic Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 performed by Cork violinist Mairéad Hickey, and concludes with Shostakovich’s epic Symphony No. 5 in D minor, Op. 47.
A rare opportunity to hear Ireland’s national orchestra in Cork, the night after their Dublin performance at the National Concert Hall.
