Michael Grace is a multi instrumentalist/singer-songwriter from Kilkenny, though he has based in Cork for the past then years. He has played all around the globe alongside some of Ireland’s top musicians, and in 2019 alone, has appeared on stages in Ireland, Norway, Canada and Malaysia. His band, The Ill Winds, feature regularly in venues and festivals around the country and beyond. Michael has been involved in some original projects over the years, and is currently gearing up for the debut release of brand new alt folk band, Briars, as well as playing bass with Míde Houlihan and In The Willows. When playing as a solo act, Michael includes original material as well as contemporary, traditional and folk covers.
