After catching the attention of Dean Lewis with a cover of ‘Lose My Mind’, Luz was invited to support him in Dublin. After posting covers anonymously online, by the age of sixteen she decided to lift the veil of secrecy to the world.
Luz released her debut single in 2020 titled ‘I’m Lonely’. To fans’ delight later that year Luz released ‘We’ll Be Fine’ and ‘The Author’. In 2020 Luz was selected by Hot Press among their Hot for 2020 artists. All the while the talented artist was receiving attention from all corners of the world online. Her cover of ‘Don’t Stop Now’ even had the singer Dua Lipa in awe.
In 2021 Luz released Permanent +1 and Counting Houses. Luz was nominated for an Ivor Novello Rising Star Award in 2022. Luz released her new song ‘Sustain’ in July 2023.
