Leevy are bringing their Folk Punk sound out of the mountains.

Armed with Whistles, Banjos, Electric Guitars and Hiberno-English, Leevy guide their audiences through tales of the dead exacting revenge, young love ending in arson and beings older than time awakening! As well as the malaise of modernity - signing onto the dole, letting go of the past to live as one's authentic self and the tragedy of regret.

Musically, the band pull influence from many unusual places. Outside of their clear Punk and Rock influences, the band cite Pecker Dunne, Pixies, the Pogues and Cór Chúil Aodha as huge inspirations.

But, like all interesting acts, it's the part of their sound that one can't put a finger on that makes them so enthralling to watch.
