The Cork Shakespearean Company, also known as "The Loft". Founded in 1924 by Fr Christopher O'Flynn. The theatre, up to the year 2000 was based out of the upper floor in Linehan's sweet factory John Redmond Street which is why it gained the moniker "The Loft".
