Ivy Favier is a multifaceted performing artist, jazz vocalist, songwriter, and vocal instructor based in Cork City. Ivy grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland and Colorado, USA. While living in CO, she received 10 years of private vocal and piano instruction under acclaimed jazz vocalist Faye Nepon, and performed in many concerts, benefits, and musical theatre productions across the state.
Since relocating from Colorado to Cork in 2021, Ivy’s been performing her original songs in various venues throughout the city. In 2023, Ivy started attending the jazz jams at Crane Lane on a weekly basis, which led to her featuring in several jazz lineups for Cork Jazz Festival in 2024 and 2025.
In 2023, she formed the musical duo “The Hopeless Romantics” with singer-songwriter Wike Schippers, and they perform regularly throughout County Cork. In 2024, Ivy released her debut album, “Little Spark”, and she’s currently in the process of recording her second album (an album of her all-original jazz songs) and hopes to release it in 2027.
