Hot Club Cork represents the very best of the country's Gypsy Jazz scene, the hottest young manouche guitarists and the very best musical talent available on the night. Led by Colum Pettit on violin and featuring guitarists Philip Guiton and Aury Livingstone with Cormac Hennessy on double bass: two graduates of Cork's MTU a generation apart. Hot Club Cork strives to honour the legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli, the original Hot Club de France, keeping the hot in Hot Club while embracing influences from contemporary masters of the genre like Stochelo Rosenberg and the great Birelli. A steamy session of dance jazz is guaranteed, suitable for all tastes, ages and shoe sizes.
