Jowy is a Dublin-based DJ born in Amsterdam with roots in Ghana, India and Suriname. Known for high-energy, bass-driven sets, she blends UKG, breaks, grime, 140, afro and Caribbean-influenced riddims and baile funk. She has supported artists including Bakey, Conducta, Jeff Mills and Sammy Virji, and played festivals and platforms such as Other Voices, AVA and Electric Picnic. Jowy is a resident with the queer collective Rathaus, one half of the duo BK86, and the founder of foxgluv and co-founder of AMPM, platforms focused on community and highlighting female, non-binary and trans creatives in club culture.
