Hailing as Ireland’s premier flute, violin, viola, and cello quartet, GlasQuartet comprises of four exceptional musicians with roots in Louth, wherethis group have been performing together since their early years.
Their musical journey led them to the United Kingdom, where each pursuedconservatoire training at esteemed institutions such as the Royal NorthernCollege of Music, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and The GuildhallSchool of Music and Drama.
Dedicated to sharing their passion for music, the quartet is deeply involvedin education, holding teaching positions at esteemed institutions includingMusic Generation, The Royal Irish Academy of Music, and DkIT. Mostrecently, Glas Quartet has embarked on an enchanting project titled ‘LittleNotes for Little Dotes’, crafted to deliver captivating and age-appropriatemusical performances. With a carefully curated repertoire, the Quartet aimsto resonate with young audiences, captivating both babies and preschool-age children alike. Glas Quartet are also members of the charity Live MusicNow, a charity working and campaigning to create inclusive, measurablesocial impact through music.
