Féile Fearann Rí, a vibrant festival celebrating traditional and folk music, returns for its fourth year from Wednesday 25th until Saturday 28th March. Joined this year by the fearless fiddler, Clare Sands, the festival will feature workshops, rehearsals, concerts, recitals, sessions and storytelling events across key venues around Cork City’s northside.
Each year the féile features young traditional musicians from local schools alongside adult groups from the community, including Club Ceoil Knocknaheeny and Blarney. With musicians of all ages collaborating with renowned traditional artists, the festival creates a unique, vibrant, intergenerational musical experience for players and audiences alike.
Féile Fearann Rí is proudly presented by Creative Tradition, Music Generation Cork City, the Arts Council, Cork City Council, and Musical Neighbourhoods.
Programme and tickets available at www.creativetradition.ie/feile
Gala concert is €5. All other events are FREE, but booking is required.
