When Nanci Griffith called Frances Black “the sweetest voice of Ireland,” she was paying tribute to someone who has been one of Ireland’s best-loved and most enduring artists since the late 80s, with a string of best-selling albums, awards and other accolades behind her. Now Yew Wood Venues is absolutely thrilled to welcome Frances to Youghal and St. Mary’s Collegiate Church for her first ever concert in this historic town. Frances, of course, is a member of the well known musical genius family “The Black Family” and began singing with her older siblings when she was only 17 years old.
