Exhibition: Life, Death, Legacy: Ireland's Connected Bronze Age

Cork Public Museum

Fri 29 May 2026 - Sun 25 Apr 2027
10am
FREE

A new exhibition at the Cork Public Museum explores the Bronze Age from a different perspective. Showcasing the work done by UCC postgraduate students, the exhibition explores life in the deep past (2500-500 BCE) and presents a dynamic, connected society shaped by metalworking and trade. Through intricate objects this show examines aspects of daily and ritual life – metalworking, feasting, luxuries, and burial traditions – revealing how people lived, created, expressed identity, and commemorated their dead.

Tuesday-Friday: 10am-4pm

Saturday: 11am-4pm

Sundays: May-Sept 2-4pm. Oct-April, closed.
